100,000 pounds of goods shipped to orphanages in Haiti!

The Flying Fish Project provides vital resources to organizations dedicated to serving the needy in the Caribbean. As a component of Landquest Charities [www.landquestdevelopment.com], this nonprofit organization is run by Landquest employees, families and friends.

The Project's name is derived from the national symbol of Barbados: the Flying Fish. These extraordinary animals can frequently be seen gracefully "flying" above the waters surrounding the island. The Flying Fish achieves this seemingly impossible feat by rising above the limitations imposed upon it. A source of considerable national pride, this symbol seemed ideally suited for this initiative, which strives to help the needy help themselves to reach heights previously thought to be unattainable.

Through the efforts of its volunteer representatives, the Project procures essential goods from the abundant resources available in America. These resources are then sent directly to governmental and non-governmental groups dedicated to serving children, the disabled and the disadvantaged throughout the Caribbean. Over the past five years, the Project has delivered more than 5 tons of much-needed supplies.

The Flying Fish Project is a registered 501(c)(3) and has no paid employees. 100 percent of its financial resources and donations are sent directly to the needy.
